Subject	Compressor surge with 2.5" pipes?

Message	Hi all Just finished reassembling XtraVerTT. Basically removed the gt28rs (they are going on SlickTTop), added sport500s, ash massives, 2.5" intake and intercooler pipes, 60mm TBs, BDE motor mounts and BDE GHKs. Anyways, I took it out for a run and heard a loud chirp when I shifted gears while accelerating under boost. It almost sounded like tire chirp but it was when I lifted to shift. Anyways, some of the locals are telling me it is compressor surge because of the larger pipes. Anyone else experience this? Do the extra spings in the recircs from the GHKs make this worse?
